DIY TOILE NOTEBOOK
How many times do you purchase a notebook because it just looks so pretty? Why spend all of that extra money when you can create dazzling, one of a kind journals with our Mesh Stencils and Gel Art Inks? It's super easy and best of all, the vision is all yours!
Step 1: Start by cutting your stencil in half to fit the size of your notebook.
Step 2: Mix 1 part Bella's Blush Rescue Restore Paint with 2 parts water. Load your Foam Dome Brush with the mixture and begin applying to the outside of the book.
Step 3: Apply the mixture using long strokes, covering the entire book. Be careful not to paint onto the pages of the book. Apply 2 coats if needed. Allow to dry.
Step 4: Place Toile Stencil onto the book and smooth out any bubbles.
Step 5: Add a dab of Hey Y'all and Well, I Declare Gel Art Ink onto your ChalkArt Spreader.
Step 6: Begin to apply the Gel Art Ink to the stencil, using enough pressure to push the ink through the mesh.
Step 7: Continue the same process using Grass Is Always Greener and If The Creek Don't Rise Gel Art Inks. Then mix Bless His Heart and Well, I Declare to create a pink color for the blooms and cherry blossoms.
Step 8: Once done, carefully remove the stencil and wash it with lukewarm water. You can set the ink using a hot iron (no steam) for at least a minute. Then, journal away or set on your coffee table for adorable decor!
