DIY Ceramic Planter

Spring is just around the corner, so it's the perfect time to prepare your outdoor accessories! With our Mesh Stencils and Ceramic Paint, you can have on-trend pots and planters in no time!

Products needed:

Ceramic Paint - Black

Mesh Stencil - Kissing Booth

Artist Brush

Step 1: Start by cutting out your stencil. Then remove wooden legs from planter and apply the stencil to the top of the planter.

Step 2: Load the Artist Brush with the Black Ceramic Paint and apply it to the stencil with pressure. You can use Painters' Tape to keep from going off the edges of the stencil.

Step 3: Carefully remove the stencil and wash immediately with lukewarm water. Once dry, line up the stencil and continue the design around the top of the planter.

Step 4: After the design has dried, use Painters' Tape to create a thin line about an inch down from the design. Then paint on Black Ceramic Paint using the Artist Brush.

Step 5: Remove the tape and allow the paint to dry.

Step 6: Repeat the process, creating a larger band around the bottom of the planter. Place the planter in a cool oven and heat it at 325° for 35 minutes. Turn the oven off and allow it to cool inside the oven. Happy planting!
