DIY Spring Pillowcase
Finding incredible pillows for spring isn't always easy, so why not create your own!
In this A Makers' Studio tutorial we're going to show you how to create your very own DIY pillowcases with ease.
Note: Materials used for this project are listed at the bottom of the page.
DIY Spring Pillowcase Instructions:
Step 1: Begin by placing a dab of each Gel Art Ink onto a scrap piece of cardboard.
Step 2: Then, using your Foam Dome Brush, in an up-down motion begin loading the brush with a mixture of colors.
Step 3: Using the same up-down motion, apply the ink to the Wreath Stencil.
Step 4: Very carefully place the stamp straight down onto the pillowcase, laying it down from the top of the case and keeping the top in line with the bottom.
Step 5: Gently press along the black outline of the stamp.
Step 6: Then carefully lift the stamp straight up.
Step 7: Repeat the steps using a second Wreath Section and flipping it so that it hangs off the bottom of the case.
Step 8: Continue the pattern across the whole pillowcase, giving an illusion of stripes.
Allow to dry for at least 2 hours, then use a hot iron (no steam) to set the ink.
Now you have your very own custom pillowcase for spring!
